How to report bin problems

You can use the online form to report problems with a bin.

  • abandoned
  • damaged
  • stolen
  • partially emptied
  • missed in a bin collection service.

Check what details you need to give to submit your report successfully. 

What you need to provide

To complete your report, include:

  • the type of bin you’re reporting (e.g. general waste, recycling, green waste or bulk)
  • details of any damage (for damaged bins)
  • how many bins are affected (for abandoned and stolen bins)
  • location information including the house number, street name and suburb 
  • additional location details to help us locate the problem, such as the nearest landmark or crossroad 
  • your contact details.
